Toma Boată estate
The Dulbanu estate was shared in 1925, one part became the estate of Toma Boată, lawyer from Bucharest, my great grandfather.
This land was used for agriculture and as vineyard.
The lawyer was born in 1871 in Nicolint, Caras county, Banat, under the Habsburg rule.
The land was confiscated by communists and after 1989 we succeeded to get back a part of it.
The land is flat, bordered by the Pasărea small river whose spring is very close.
The access is from the Otopeni-Tunari road, by the Putna street.
The surface is 300.000 square meters (30 hectares), very good for a residential project.
It is close to the airport Otopeni, South of the West-East runway.
I went there to hear the noise of the planes.
There is no noise because the jet engines are never aimed to this land.
You see the planes up and down but these fly without noise, like gliders.
The land is at 400 meters from the runway and in the middle of it, so planes are always in the air.
In conclusion, no noise, perfect for a residential project.
Right-up - the HAT shape land (dark green)
Down yellow -Otopeni-Tunari road
Down at 90 degree - Putna street - access to this estate
There are some residential projects down-right with access from the road Otopeni-Tunari.
The map is old but perfect with the colors to identify the estate.

The plan of Otopeni
The HAT shape land perimeter marked with yellow (North East)
The legend - residential 3 floors houses (P+1 or 2)
Pasarea river borders the land (Right-up). BASE 90 - left. Runway left-up
Putna street - access from the road (23 August street)
Take-off photos. Planes take-off from West to East. Land circled with yellow
Down is the airport perimeter security road
Pasarea river at Tunari
The runway - right-down
A residential project good for people who need the proximity of the Bucharest airport...
Good as shelter for massive airborne evacuation from conflict areas like Middle East because of the proximity of the military airport using the same runway. See it in pink on the Otopeni plan.
BASE 90 - link !
Also good for storage and for manufacturers with parts supplied by air.
Putna street - 2014
